Final Piece Ideas:
For my final piece, I have decided to go back to my portrait work from my seventh shoot as I feel that this is my strongest work up to now in my project and I think that this shoot has the most ideas and could be experimented with a little more. The composition of this shoot is also the strongest and it can be seen that more work and effort has been put into the making of this shoot as it has a different location. Also, the mystery of the ideas adds to the detail of the shoot which would make viewers more interested in the images that could potentially be part of my final piece.
Furthermore, if I have time after created my final piece with these ideas and from this shoot, I am going to look at creating a second final piece which with be from my eighth shoot so that I have a variety of still life and portrait images, as I feel that the portrait images are stronger but I also like the ideas from my still life work and I think that a lot could be done with them to make them just as successful.
Plan to Present:
Research for Displaying:
When researching on Pinterest, I found this image of a book in a jar and decided that I would use this for inspiration and include something like this in my final piece. I will shred up a book and fill a jar with it, this will add to the display and will link in with all the images as they all have the different words in common, by doing this, it will create a stronger link to link them all together. I think that by doing this it will add to the creativity of my final piece.
Also, in my final piece I am going to include images in jars as well as presenting large images in frames to add to the ideas and details. As it can be seen above, I found these images of jars with images in on Pinterest when researching for ideas for displaying my images. All of these images above link to some sort of memories, even if it old family photos, the idea of memories links in with my idea in my project. I decided I would take the ideas from these images as inspiration and use these in my final piece. I am going to take a new shot, taking pictures of trees so that it links in with my seventh shoot and I am going to print these images in the darkroom to a size in which they will fit in to a jar, once I have printed them in the darkroom, I am going to scratch words into them which link in with my ideas and then put them into the jars.
From seeing this on pinterest, it has given me the idea of creating a mini book from teabags will all of my final images from my still life section in, I think this idea will be unique. I would do this by inserting the relevant sized images into the teabags then waxing the teabags and sticking them together, possibly by sewing them.
I have had to idea of printing words onto teabags to go with the images and which link into to ideas of the images, these will be an addition to the work that I have already done if there is time at the end of the project
This idea which I also found on pinterest, supports my original idea of teabags in which I experimented with in my seventh shoot. I would create an image like this and I would most likely stick the teabags together with a glue gun which looks like the technique that has been used in this example, rather than sewing them together like I did previously as I do not think that it looked that effective. When cutting up the one image to insert into all of these teabags, I have a possible idea of using the same image but have one inverted image and the original(or black and white) version of the image and creating one image out of these when putting the teabags together. I would do this by creating a pattern which I think would be unique and creative. I would use this idea to create roughly an A3 size image which would be one of the main images in the display for the second part of my final piece. I also like the idea of the pieces of newspaper inside the teabags along with the pieces of the image, I could use this idea as inspiration and instead of putting newspaper inside the teabags I may but words to fit in with the ideas of the image.
These images are also examples of teabag art in which I found on Pinterest, they have all given me ideas of how I could possibly display my images in a different way. With inspiration from these images I have came up with the idea of displaying the best images large by just framing them normally, and with the extra images that I have got which are also my final images, could be displayed smaller, in teabags near the larger images. I could possible hang them all with string like the image on the right so that they are all at different lengths individually hanging in front of the larger images. I could also create a quilt with all the images in teabags, like the middle image. This would mean that I would have to have a lot of images to work with or I could duplicate them and use the same ones continuously creating a pattern with the different images.
